Dr. Noah Machuki Onchieku

Dr. Noah Machuki Onchieku, PhD is a biomedical scientist who studies infectious diseases and mechanisms of drug resistance. Dr. Onchieku is a fellow of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – National Institutes of Health, USA and holds a PhD in Life Sciences from the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).

He has established active research collaborations with various national and international researcher groups including the PlasmoGEM Group at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge (UK), University of Strasbourg/Pasteur Institute (France), ICGEB and the Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).

Dr. Onchieku has published in high quality peer reviewed journals and has many active research grants.

As the Head of the Office of Research and Grants Management, Dr. Onchieku has brought on board a wealth of scientific knowledge, proposal development skills, research grants administration skills and a rich research network.
