Mr. Samwel Akello is a Medical Laboratory Scientist. He heads the Laboratory Services at Kanyimbo Hospital.
He has over 7 years-experience in Laboratory Practice and Management; having previously worked with Equity Afia Medical Centre, Grays Medical Centre, Kisumu and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching & Referral Hospital in Kisumu.
Prior to joining Kanyimbo Hospital, he was the Laboratory Manager, Equity Afia Medical Centre in Kisumu

Mr. Akello holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Maseno University.
He holds a certification First Aid Administration from St. John’s Ambulance as well as a Certificate in HIV/AIDS Testing & Reporting Protocols from PACE Project, University of Maryland, USA
Mr. Akello is licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
